Medical Liberty Bills Filed
SB 30- DEAD. Prohibits an employer from requiring, as a condition of employment, an employee or prospective employee to receive any immunization if the immunization would pose a significant risk to the employee's or prospective employee's health or if receiving the immunization is against the employee's religious beliefs or conscience. Allows for a civil action against an employer for a violation.
SB 31- DEAD. Prohibits an employer from requiring, as a condition of employment, an employee or prospective employee to receive an immunization against COVID-19 if the immunization would pose a significant risk to the employee's or prospective employee's health or if receiving the immunization is against the employee's religious beliefs. Allows for a civil action against an employer for a violation. SB 114- DEAD. Vaccine status discrimination. Provides that certain acts by a person or a government entity concerning an individual's vaccination status or whether an individual has an immunity passport are against public policy. Provides that the Indiana department of labor may investigate and issue administrative orders for violations or threatened violations. Establishes a separate private right of action for violations or threatened violations. SB 286- DEAD. Prohibition on employer immunization requirements. Prohibits an employer from requiring an employee or prospective employee to inject, ingest, inhale, or otherwise incorporate an immunization in the employee's or prospective employee's body as a condition of employment or as a condition of receiving additional compensation or benefits. Allows for a civil action against an employer for a violation. SB 330- DEAD. (Watered down, weaker version of SB 114.) Vaccine status discrimination. Provides that certain acts by a person, an employer, or a governmental entity concerning an individual's vaccination status or whether an individual has an immunization passport are against public policy. Provides that the Indiana department of labor may investigate and issue administrative orders for violations or threatened violations. |
HB 1001 - PASSED. Permits employers to discriminate through forced testing when using exemptions. See blog for more information.
HB 1350 - DEAD. Indiana vaccination adverse event reporting system. Requires the Indiana department of health (department) to establish an Indiana vaccination adverse event reporting system (IVAERS) for reporting the occurrence of adverse events relating to childhood vaccines. HB 1372 - DEAD. Dispensing ivermectin. Allows a physician or advanced practice registered nurse to create a standing order that allows a pharmacist to dispense ivermectin. Provides that a prescription dispensed under a standing order is considered to be issued for a legitimate medical purpose in the usual course of professional practice. HB 1128 - DEAD. Independent audit of government response to COVID. Establishes the select COVID-19 audit commission to conduct an independent, in depth, and extensive audit of the COVID-19 state disaster emergency and the response of government and society to COVID-19. Makes an appropriation. HB 1408- DEAD. This bill has an interesting story. See the blog for more information! |

PD3651- Preliminary Draft addressing two issues at the forefront of everyone's mind. These two issues MUST be separated and voted on independently. The first portion of the bill codifies (makes into law) the current state of emergency. The second portion of this bill addresses vaccination mandates. This incredibly articulate and BRAVE soul stood for 12 minutes, half of which was interrogation from Senate Democrats. This testimony gave light to so many important issues facing our health care system.
