What is bodily integrity?
In a 2017 article published by Herring & Wall in the Cambridge Law Journal, bodily integrity & bodily autonomy are defined, "Every human being’s right to life carries with it, as an intrinsic part of it, rights of bodily integrity and autonomy the right to have one’s own body –whole and intact and (on reaching an age of understanding) to take decisions about one’s own body."
The article also quotes David Feldman in his definition, "a right to be free from physical interference."
Further, the article goes on to discuss case law regarding a feeding tube's "invasive" nature by constantly being present within the body resulting in a considerable violation of bodily integrity.
To review, bodily integrity is a human right where the individual shall not be subject to bodily disruptions without their consent. The most serious forms include dwelling inside or a continuous presence of the intrusion.
This proclaimed human right is completely ignored in the name of the greater good, which undermines the principle all together.
How is this possible in a "free" country like the United States that is supposed to be governed "by the people, for the people?"
Our legal system currently defers to case precedent rather than constitutional principles. Individuals fighting mandates fall back on the 14th amendment.
The 14th amendment calls for due process and several cases regarding vaccination and other medical violations of bodily integrity hinge on due process. The difference between winning a case or losing a case is - the power of the state.
So you have to ask, what declaration has the state made about the issue of bodily integrity?
Currently our state allows mandatory vaccination and the weak "protections" it grants are easily ignored in the instance of "public safety."
That must change.
If we want to secure our right to bodily integrity, that right must be protected by the laws our state enacts.
The good news is that the Indiana Constitution, Article I, Section I of the Bill of rights reads as follows:

It does not matter what previous supreme court rulings have said. We have the right to alter our government and it is time we do that.
